I knew I was in for a real treat after the first track showcasing the rich analog world threading with the digital textures and rhythms. Plenty of Cafe del Mar candidates abound. Great for an inebriated warm Sunday afternoon.
These guys like to play with sound. You can tell from their music alone, or if you get a chance to see their live show you will see that the music has taken them over and won't let go!
Favorite track: The Seventh String.
One Of The Most Gorgeous Ambient/Drone/Vaporwave Album’s I’ve Ever Heard. There’s Really No Words I Can Say That Will Live Up To Just How Gorgeous This Album Is- Just Listen To It. It Perfectly Paints This Picture Of A Neon Dystopian Future Where Nothing Satisfies You And You’re All Alone. 10/10. Andrew Gregway
There is something haunting about the family having zero clue about WW2 in its entirety. I remember learning about them and wondering and I still wonder now how many are still in the wilderness, driven there by atrocities or not. Many find being alone to be fear inducing. But they left and isolated out of fear to begin with. This music is just the tip of the iceberg for how haunting and emotional the situation is. It does its job as well as possible, though. As overplayed as Resonance is among the circles of internet music I've hung out in, I'm perfectly happy with that - for one, it's a great track regardless of overplay, and for two, it introduced me to albums worth of pleasing, sentimental-sounding chillwave. Artemy Musha
